In the 1990’s Barry became a business consultant to the entertainment industry. His artist clients included:
Dan Zanes of the Del Fuegos, Donnie Purnell of the rock band KIX and the Christian rock band MXPX. Corporate consulting included Sony Music of Canada before entering into the new economy with EMusic, where he advised the content department and also licensed and purchased catalogs for them.
In 2001 Barry entered what became a long term agreement with officialCommunity, an Online - Event driven Brand Management Agency.
